Brandon Lake Makes Biggest Christian Album Debut of 2025 – TCB – Brandon Lake

The latest hit album from five-time GRAMMY winner Brandon LakeKing of Hearts, makes its debut at number 1 on Billboard‘s Top Christian Albums.  The album accomplishes a feat of number 7 on the Billboard 200, number 3 on the Top Album Sales, and number 1 both the Top Rock Albums and Top Alternative Albums.  Meanwhile in the UK, Brandon Lake’s King of Hearts achieves number 30 on the OCC Top Album Downloads and number 1 on the Top Christian & Gospel Albums.  The accomplishment marks the highest Christian Album debut of the year, followed by Forrest Frank’s Child of God II, which hit the Billboard 200 at number 12 in May.  It also marks the first UK Christian & Gospel Album number 1 debut since Skillet’s Revolution in November 2024.

The album’s success doesn’t end there.  It features several hit songs, including the lead single, “That’s Who I Praise”.  The song topped all five Christian song charts, including Christian Airplay, where it dominated for ten weeks – the longest reign on the chart of the 2020s, tying with the JWLKRS and Housefires collaboration “I Thank God”.  The following single, “Hard Fought Hallelujah”, achieved no less than its predecessor, topping four of the five Christian song charts.  The song hit number 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 197 on the Global 200.  Within six months of commercial release, the song was certified RIAA Platinum for selling at least 1,000,000 copies within the US.

Brandon Lake’s King of Hearts also features several additional Hot Christian Song entries – “I Know a Name” (number 5), “Sevens” (number 15), “Daddy’s DNA” (number 6), “The Great I Am Can” (number 31), “Plans” (number 27), “King of Hearts” (number 12), “Spare Change” (number 16), “But God” (number 24), “Right In the Middle” (number 40), “As For Me & My Home” (number 26), “Watch This!” (number 48), and “Remember the Miracles” (number 44) – accounting for fourteen of the album’s sixteen tracks.
