The Reed Family Announces Departure from Seventh Day Slumber

After over a decade of dedicated service, the Reed family has formally announced their departure from the Christian rock band Seventh Day Slumber.

In a statement released via social media, Krysten Reed explained that the decision comes as the family embarks on a new business endeavor, Fader Ops, which requires their full attention and commitment.

“There’s no easy way to say this, but it’s time for us to go,” Reed stated. “We’ve recently started a new business (Fader Ops) and the beginning stage of this requires a lot of time and effort from us. We feel like God is calling us to something new after 13 years with Seventh Day Slumber, which is scary, but we know God has a plan.”

The Reed family has been an integral part of Seventh Day Slumber’s ministry, contributing significantly to the band’s mission and outreach efforts. Their departure marks the end of an important chapter, though their ties to the group remain strong.

“We love the entire SDS and Magdalene Rose crew, and they will always be family to us,” Reed added. “Thank you for all your support through the years.”

While their departure represents a significant transition, the Reeds remain optimistic and faith-driven as they pursue new opportunities. Their announcement has already prompted an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues, many of whom have expressed gratitude for the family’s years of service and encouragement for the journey ahead.
