Rave reviews are pouring in as “Karen Kingsbury’s The Christmas Ring” opens today, Nov. 6, in theaters nationwide, starring Kelsey Grammer, Jana Kramer, Benjamin Hollingsworth, and Jessie James Decker. Momentum also continues for the movie’s companion novel, “The Christmas Ring,” as it recently catapulted to The New York Times Best Sellers for Hardcover Fiction. In a touching tribute to America’s heroes, the film features 100 background actors who are actual active or retired military members, including 101-year-old World War II veteran James Daniels, who appears in one of the film’s most emotional scenes.
