CORY ASBURY RETURNS TO WORSHIP WITH NEW SONG, OUTSING THE ANGELS, TITLE TRACK FROM UPCOMING ALBUM

Known for writing one of the most impactful worship songs of the last decade, the triple-platinum hit “Reckless Love,” Cory Asbury says he spent years running from church, worship ministry, and ultimately his calling. What followed was a season marked by disconnection, cynicism, and the pursuit of lesser things. He realized his wandering was not only affecting his own life but also hurting the community of believers. That season came to a turning point through the honest rebuke and encouragement of fellow artist Forrest Frank. In the midst of feeling broken and spiritually exhausted, Asbury says he encountered God’s unconditional love again in a deeply personal way.
Now entering a new season of worship, Asbury shares the first song of his new album. “Outsing the Angels” is an anthem for the ones who are done playing it safe, the ones who break the jar and pour out everything like Mary at His feet. Lungs burning, voice breaking, nothing held back.
“‘Outsing the Angels’ is a call to outlandish, unruly worship,” shares Asbury. “It’s the childlike, almost foolish notion that we, mere mortals, could somehow contend with the very beings created for the sole purpose of worship. Honestly, it’s preposterous. But it’s a reminder that we were once young and wild and full of life and passion before the mundaneness of everyday life dulled our love for Him.”
In a full-circle moment, Asbury will join Forrest Frank on his upcoming nationwide tour along with special guest Tori Kelly. Tour dates are listed below.

ABOUT CORY ASBURY: Cory Asbury is a singer-songwriter who began his musical journey in church at the age of 14. He became a full-time performer at 21. His influential album, Reckless Love (2018), topped the Billboard Christian Albums chart and earned him two Dove Awards and a GRAMMY nomination. The album’s title track spent 18 weeks at No. 1, earning him accolades from Billboard, ASCAP, and BMI as Christian Song of the Year. The song has also been certified Triple Platinum by the RIAA.
ABOUT BEC RECORDINGS: BEC Recordings exists at the intersection of faith and culture. For more than 25 years, the label has amplified artists whose music has reached beyond church walls — onto Billboard charts, into film and TV, across major retail campaigns, and through sold-out festival grounds. Today, that mission continues with a current roster that includes Cory Asbury, Tasha Layton, Gracie Binion, Jordan St. Cyr and several others — artists carrying the torch lit by BEC alumni like Jeremy Camp, Hawk Nelson, Kutless, 7eventh Time Down, and The O.C. Supertones, who got their start or built their careers with the label. BEC has proven that music rooted in conviction can also dominate the mainstream conversation — and after all these years, that legacy shows no signs of slowing down.
