July 10, 2026– Christian hip-hop artist KB releases his new album THIS CANNOT BE SOLD, a project built around a simple but pointed idea: the things that matter most can’t be bought, branded, or bartered. It’s KB at his fullest, moving fluidly through genres without asking permission, and features Ben Fuller, Ryan Ofei, Caleb Conley, and others.
.
The album arrives as a rebuttal to how transactional the world has become, where algorithms now decide what gets seen, what gets valued, and what counts as worth something. Rather than reach for escapism, he leans into the tension of the moment, giving listeners language for a divided world instead of another way to numb from it.
“This album is about worth,”KB says. “What can’t be commodified is what actually holds you together. My marriage isn’t for sale. My family isn’t for sale. And I’m not interested in tickling itching ears just to stay likable. I’d rather give my best for God than water it down for what’s popular. That’s what THIS CANNOT BE SOLD is about.”
His singles, “Campaign,” “Got A Reason,” “Blood 2,” and “Left Hand“ each pulled back a different layer of THIS CANNOT BE SOLD.
It’s some of the most deliberate work of his career. The writing is dense and layered, built on wordplay and structure that reward a second and third listen, the kind of lyricism KB has built his reputation on since he first stepped into the genre.
That level of craft hasn’t gone unrecognized. Four Billboard No. 1 debuts, five Dove Awards, and a 2024 album, His Glory Alone II, that earned Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year. He’s also an author, and hosts the podcast Southside Rabbi, where he brings the same directness to faith and culture that he brings to his records, reaching an audience of close to 2 million monthly Spotify listeners along the way.
THIS CANNOT BE SOLD is available now on all streaming platforms via Provident Entertainment.
