NASHVILLE, Tenn. — “Still Small Voice,” the long-awaited new single from acclaimed singer/songwriter, worship leader, and SEU Worship alum Jenn Chenoweth, is now available (WieRise Music). The impassioned pop anthem was produced by Seth Ready (Seth & Nirva) and Brennan Watson, and penned by Chenoweth, Watson, Jonathan Turner, and Michaela Halfast.
Opening a distinctive new chapter for the Florida-based artist following the release of her 2025 full-length debut, Out To Get Me, “Still Small Voice” brims with hopeful effervescence and earnest revelation. Embracing the realization that God’s loudest call is often heard as a whisper, Chenoweth sings, “You weren’t in the raging wind/And You weren’t in the blazing flames/But You’re drowning out the noise/Oh You’re drowning out the noise/With Your still small voice.”
The first track from her sophomore set slated for release next year, Chenoweth says of the song, “‘Still Small Voice’ was inspired by 1 Kings 19 and offers a reminder that God is not only found in moments of great intensity, but also in the quiet whisper. The Lord was not in the wind, the earthquake, or the fire, but He made Himself known to Elijah in a still small voice.”
“We can find ourselves in the caves of life, running scared and ready to give up, but no matter where we go God is able to meet us exactly how we need to be met,” she continues. “He is great enough to call down fire and send the rain, and great enough to meet us in the darkest place with a still small voice to restore us and redirect us. God is so faithful like that.”
ABOUT JENN CHENOWETH
Singer/songwriter, worship leader, and pastor Jenn Chenoweth is continuing a family legacy of ministry. The South Florida native’s father is a pastor; her mother is a church music director, professional pianist, and harpist; and Chenoweth began leading worship at just 9 years old in her church’s children’s ministry program. A love for worship has been a consistent theme throughout her life, including during her college years at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, where Chenoweth was featured on several tracks with the renowned SEU Worship collective.
Diagnosed with TMJ disorder in 2019, a condition affecting her mouth and jaw, Chenoweth was riddled with chronic pain as she endured therapies and surgical procedures that threatened her ability to sing. This health battle deepened her dependence on God, and she ultimately learned to embrace her true identity — not as a singer or songwriter — simply as His child. Out To Get Me, Chenoweth’s 2025 debut album, is a testament to God’s faithful pursuit of her heart throughout this season of struggle.
