Backed by a full choir, urgent strings and heart-pounding drums, Lloyd Nicks transforms the traditional arrangement of “Angels We Have Heard On High” into a soaring anthem of praise on “Glory (Angels We Have Heard).” His completely revamped version stands as a powerful invitation to witness majesty in a manger across a song that beckons us closer to Jesus.”Glory (Angels We Have Heard)” was written by Nicks, Tony Wood and Micah Kuiper, who also produced the track. The seasonal offering wraps a phenomenal year for Nicks, who embarked on a new journey as a recording artist. The father of two swiftly garnered attention with the release of his debut ballad, “Heal For You,” which tallied more than 60 million impressions across his social platforms and was nominated for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year ahead of the 57th annual GMA Dove Awards.

Across 2026, Nicks performed his original material at Tin Pan South and South by Southwest (SXSW). He also launched his first radio single — “A Little More” — and dropped a string of additional selections that showcased his diverse artistry, including “We Won’t,” “Paper-Mach” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Heaven.” Earlier this month, he unveiled “Common Ground,” an all-star collaboration with labelmates Blanca and Harper Grace, as well as chart-topping CCM outfit Cochren & Co., in support of his Common Ground Initiative, a hub for creatives in his hometown of St. Louis. His full-length debut, Paper-Mach, is slated to bow Mar. 19, 2027. The introductory set is now available for pre-add, pre-save and pre-order HERE.

Already a GRAMMY winner, three-time GMA Dove Award nominee and a co-writer on a Billboard Music Award-winning song, Nicks signed a recording contract with Curb in 2025. His award-winning hit, CeCe Winans’ “That’s My King,” remained at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart for an impressive 49 weeks.
