Have you noticed that in life there are battles? Life seems like it would be a lot easier if God was like a genie that would just grant you all your wishes. If you struggle with sin, you could just wish it away and it would be gone. And while our battles in life don’t go away by wishing, with God, the good news is that God doesn’t leave us to fight our battles alone.
In life’s battles, God furnishes you with armor you need to fight. He’s given you armor, it’s your job to pick it up and use it when faced with the devil’s attacks.
The devil always seems to attack us in different ways. Sometimes he attacks our identity and makes you question who you are. Sometimes he comes at you with fear and makes you afraid to step out and do the thing God is calling you to do. Sometimes, you fight against lust or things of the flesh and it can be hard to stop doing the things that are wrong.
However, the important thing to remember is that God has given us all the tools we need to fight. We just have to stand up and fight knowing we’re equipped and that God is on our side. So regardless of the battle you’re facing, be encouraged, you’re not alone.
