Rhett Walker Nominated For Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song Of The Year At Dove Awards – TCB

Nominations for this year’s 55th annual Dove Awards were announced this morning recognizing Rhett Walker’s “Man On The Middle Cross” for Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of The Year. The announcement highlights his dedication to creating music that not only entertains but also uplifts and encourages. “Man On The Middle Cross” is a shining example of his artistry and commitment to sharing his faith through music.

“It is such an honor to be recognized by the Gospel Music Association,” stated Walker. “‘Man On The Middle Cross” was a song I wrote about Grace and the power of calling on the name of Jesus. My hope was that a story told thousands upon thousands of times put to music, would impact many as it had impacted me. The song then being nominated for a Dove, is the cherry on top.”

The 55th annual GMA Dove Awards ceremony will be held in Nashville, TN, on October 1, 2024, at the Allen Arena and will air exclusively on TBN and TBN+ Friday, and simulcast on SiriusXM The Message, on October 4, 2024 at 8pm and 10pm ET.

In addition to this exciting nomination, Walker’s album “Days That We Dreamed Of,” is set to release August 9th following his Grand Ole Opry appearance on August 7th. The performance promises to be a memorable night of music and celebration that fans can look forward to. With many tour dates quickly approaching, be sure to check out Rhett Walker Tour Schedule HERE.
