The annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards aired on ABC on November 19, 2025. The awards show recognizes the top songs, albums, and artists in the past year of Country music. In a snippet of the pre-show red carpet posted to social media by The Upload podcast host Brooke Taylor, you’ll see her ask Country music’s biggest artists “what they are praying for.” The question was well-received and met with both some poignant and some humorous answers. To mention a few:
Tierra Kennedy: “peace.”
Tyler Hubbard: “direction and discernment.”
Ashley Cooke: “open the doors You want to open and close the doors You want to close.”
Chase Matthew: “that I get my racecar finished for this race in December.”
Shenandoah: “that I finish strong.”
It was a refreshing take on a red carpet interview question, a reminder to fans that artists are human too, and an encouragement to pray for the artists whose music we listen to everyday. Watch the full video here.
In Fall 2025, Country radio personality Bobby Bones announced The Upload Life as a new faith-based podcast that would be part of the Bobby Bones Podcast Network. The podcast, hosted by Brooke Taylor and Pastor Mark Evans features conversations with artists and influencers and “dives into real and honest conversations about faith, purpose, and life,” according to their mission statement. Episodes featuring Tyler Hubbard (formerly of Florida Georgia Line), Chris Lane, Walker Hayes (known for his viral song “Fancy Like”), and Connor Smith are available now.
You can watch or listen to The Upload on YouTube or wherever you get your podcasts.
