Drown The Planet is the project of Jason Wayne, whose music reflects both his faith in Christ and his personal struggles through life’s darkest seasons. While rooted in metalcore, Drown The Planet spans a wide range of styles — from pop-punk and emo to hardcore and deathcore — offering something for listeners across the heavy music spectrum.
The new album, “The Blessed /// The Cursed,” leans unapologetically toward the heavier end of that spectrum. The opening track features guest vocals from members of Bloodlines, Unbroken Reign, Living Scars, and more, while the rest of the EP includes appearances from members of Spoken, Convictions, and several of Jason’s friends and collaborators. Many talented musicians and contributors helped bring this record to life.
