ABOUT EMERSON DAY: Emerson Day is a soulful singer-songwriter who began writing songs at a young age, influenced by southern rock guitar and church piano. Raised on a family farm in Southern Maryland, she spent hours playing guitar and singing, unknowingly nurturing her musical talent. After excelling as a lacrosse player and earning a degree in Homeland Security, Emerson pursued a career in federal law enforcement. However, she felt a divine calling to music, leading her to eventually serve as a worship leader at a small church in North Carolina, where a pivotal moment affirmed her passion for Christian music. In 2023, Emerson signed her first record deal with Fair Trade Services, and her debut in Christian music began with a feature on Micah Tyler’s single “People Like Us” in January 2024, followed by her own release, “God Ain’t Finished Yet,” a powerful anthem of resilience and faith.
