Ezra Worship Initiative Releases A Powerful New Modern Hymn

Ezra Worship Initiative, a seminary-based worship training collective, is proud to release its latest single, “No King But Christ,” through NRT Music. This modern hymn, written and performed by Jimmy Daniels, is a stirring declaration of Christ’s supremacy, blending biblically rich lyrics with a melody designed for congregational worship.

From its opening lines–“No King but Christ under heaven above / Loves with such free and boundless love“–the song draws listeners into the unmatched love and authority of Jesus. Echoing the theological depth of artists like Kevin Twit and Sandra McCracken, “No King But Christ” is both fresh and timeless, an anthem for churches seeking to root their worship in strong doctrine and heartfelt devotion.

The Ezra Worship Initiative is more than just a musical endeavor–it is a movement equipping the next generation of worship leaders. Through a 10-week seminary-based internship, the Initiative trains musicians in biblical theology, leadership, and songwriting, producing songs like “No King But Christ” that serve the global church.

Now available on all streaming platforms, “No King But Christ” stands as a bold proclamation that there is no greater ruler, no deeper love, and no firmer foundation than Jesus Christ.
