“House of David” Season Two Album Debuts Today

Capital Christian Music Group (CCMG) releases “House Of David (Music Inspired By The Prime Video Original Series) [Season Two]” today, coinciding with the global debut of the Wonder Project Original hit series’ second season on Prime Video. Seasons One and Two of House of David are currently available on the Wonder Project subscription on Prime Video in the U.S. Produced in collaboration with Wonder Project and Amazon MGM Studios, the project features original songs from some of Contemporary Christian Music’s top artists, recorded specifically for the series and exclusive to this release.

Capturing the emotion and drama of Season Two, the album blends cinematic intensity with spiritual depth drawn from real psalms. Highlights include CeCe Winan’s power anthem “For Your Glory,” which evokes the epic struggle for faith and victory, Elevation Worship’s “Lead On Good Shepherd,” about trusting God to guide you through life’s dark valleys, and Lauren Daigle’s “You Lead Me,” a haunting ballad that echoes David’s inner conflict, available now along with a lyric video. 

“‘You Lead Me’ is a song about faith, trust, and the belief that we all have something helping us along our life’s journey,” said Daigle of ‘You Lead Me,” her new song to appear as part of the ‘House of David” soundtrack.  “It’s ethereal production by Ian Fitchuck and Jordan Lehning’s orchestration perfectly compliment the song’s sentiment, heart and feel.” 

The collection builds on the first “House of David” inspired-by album, which included standout contributions from NEEDTOBREATHE, Tori Kelly, for KING + COUNTRY, and Chris Tomlin.
