NASHVILLE, TENN. (JUNE 27, 2025) SEU Worship returns with a new nine-track album, A Forgiving God. This project is a journey through the themes of mercy, redemption, and the unwavering presence of God. The album was recorded live at the group’s home base, Southeastern University in Florida, and features strings, folky instrumentation, and indie textures. Listen to the album now.

SEU Worship is uniquely composed of the students, alumni, and staff from the college campus. Each album the group releases is reflective of the students at the university. A Forgiving God points to the nearness of God through every season. Each song wrestles with shame, longing for home, and the decision to follow Jesus, issues that all listeners can resonate with.

“A Forgiving God is a collection of songs shaped by the grace, nearness, and love of God,” shares Chelsea Plank. “Birthed from the sounds and moments of our campus community, it reflects what we experience in chapel week after week. We’re grateful His ways are always better than ours.”

To celebrate today’s release, SEU Worship has released the live video of the title track on YouTube. “A Forgiving God” is a heartfelt anthem inspired by the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15. It’s a call to come home to the God who forgives, no matter how far you’ve wandered.
