Lacey Sturm Announces Second Solo Album

The former Flyleaf lead singer, Lacey Sturm, announces the release date of her second studio solo record, titled Kenotic Metanoia–due November 17, 2023.

It has been seven years since her solo debut, Life Screams, which made top marks on the Billboard. Regarding the new, inspired record, Lacey shares, “All these songs have been for my own heart,” Lacey offers. “When David sings the Psalms, a lot of the time, he’s telling his soul what to do. That’s me too in this: telling my soul, singing what I know to be true.”

Recently, Lacey Sturm has been busy, reuniting with Flyleaf and playing some music festivals across the U.S., such as Sick New World and Rockfest. All the new experiences and continued family growth in the Sturm household continue to influence Lacey’s music.

In the past few years, she has been sharing snippets of the new music, building anticipation for the soon-to-be-released album. Kenotic Metanoia releases November 17, 2023, with preorders up now.
