Matthew West Shares the Story Behind Jesus Is King With New Docu-series
Matthew West is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at his new album, Jesus Is King. Matthew has a new docu-series on YouTube that takes you behind the scenes of the album and the story behind it. And there’s actually a really interesting idea behind this whole project. Jesus Is King was built around one simple question: Jesus is what?
Every song on the album fills in that blank in a different way. Jesus is good. Jesus is faithful. Jesus is our strength…But as Matthew was making this record, he says he started realizing something about himself, too. He had spent a lot of time trying to make his own plans, chase his own dreams, and be the king of his own life.
