Mr. Weaverface Surpasses 1 Million Lifetime Streams On Spotify — NewReleaseToday

Independent Christian rock artist celebrates more than 1.25 million combined streams across major platforms

NRT Music recording artist Mr. Weaverface has surpassed 1 million lifetime streams on Spotify, marking a significant milestone for the independent Christian rock artist whose music combines the unmistakable sound of ’90s alternative rock with powerful messages of spiritual warfare, personal testimony, and the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

With an additional 250,000 lifetime streams across Apple Music and Amazon Music, Mr. Weaverface’s catalog has now generated more than 1.25 million combined streams across the three major platforms, reflecting years of independent artistry, a dedicated audience, and a commitment to sharing the Gospel through guitar-driven Christian rock. Influenced by alternative rock and post-grunge bands including Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, U2, Our Lady Peace and Stone Temple Pilots, Mr. Weaverface writes and performs original music centered on spiritual warfare, the Good News of Jesus Christ and the freedom found through faith.

“Most of my songs are really testimonies,” shares Mr. Weaverface. “They’re about things I’ve personally gone through–battles, spiritual warfare, deliverance, sanctification, and the ways I’ve seen God intervene in my life. I write these songs because I want people who are going through similar battles to know that they’re not alone, and that Jesus can transform their lives.”

The streaming milestone is supported by a growing catalog of original songs that have connected with listeners around the world. Four recordings have individually surpassed 100,000 lifetime Spotify streams, including “O God, Help Me,” “Thorn In My Flesh,” “Above All Names” and “Writing on the Wall.”

Beyond Spotify, his music has continued to reach audiences through Apple Music and Amazon Music, with songs including “Above All Names” and “My Soul Is Not For Sale” finding additional listeners across streaming platforms. His releases have also earned placements on editorial playlists across all three services, introducing his music to listeners seeking faith-driven alternative and hard rock. Recent releases, including “Identity Theft,” “River of Jordan” and “Armor On (Redux),” have continued to expand his catalog while maintaining the alternative rock influences and Scripture-centered songwriting that have defined his music.

“We’ve been honored to partner with Mr. Weaverface over the past two years, first and foremost as fans of his music and the ministry behind it,” shares Kevin McNeese, Founder of NRT Music. “Together, we’ve worked to expand his reach, introduce his music to new audiences and build a catalog of Christian rock anthems that listeners will continue discovering for years to come. Surpassing one million Spotify streams is an exciting milestone and a testament to the lasting impact of his music. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together and excited to keep growing his audience and ministry as the hits keep coming.”

Mr. Weaverface’s streaming accomplishments follow significant success at Christian rock radio. His breakthrough single, “Above All Names,” spent 26 weeks on the Christian Music Weekly Top 25 Christian Rock chart, peaking at No. 6. The song also earned a nomination for Rock Song of the Year at the 2024 We Love Christian Music Awards. His follow-up single, “O God, Help Me,” spent 34 weeks on the Christian Music Weekly Christian Rock chart, including 10 weeks in the Top 10, and reached No. 5. The song’s message of calling out to God in the middle of personal struggle has become a defining part of his catalog. “O God, Help Me” also expanded into visual storytelling through its inclusion as the featured track for Stand Firm: A Light in the Shadows, a developing Christian anime series from Lamb Light Studios that blends biblical inspiration, spiritual warfare, and cinematic storytelling.

Earlier recordings, including “Jesus Is Alive” and “I May Never Die,” also received recognition through Christian rock radio, while “These Lungs,” inspired by Weaver’s near-death battle with COVID-19, brought another deeply personal testimony to his growing catalog.

Mr. Weaverface’s musical journey spans more than three decades, beginning with piano lessons as a child and eventually developing into guitar-driven songwriting and performances throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. Since 2022, he has performed alongside nationally recognized Christian artists including Skillet, Crowder, Colton Dixon, Ben Fuller, The Protest, Behold the Beloved, Magdalene Rose, Devin Williams, Undefeated, End of I, and Matt Sassano. His live appearances have included SoulFest, Agape Festival, SoulStock, Signal Boost Festival, Northcountry Music Festival, Return Festival, HOPE Christian Music Festival and Ichthus Music Festival, among others.

Outside his recording career, Weaver has served for more than two decades as a guitarist and worship leader at Community Evangelical Church in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. He also maintains a full-time career as an optometrist and owner of Weaver Eye Care Associates, with practices in Bernville and Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Balancing music, ministry, family and a professional career has shaped his approach to songwriting, with many of his songs emerging directly from personal experiences, spiritual struggles and moments of renewed faith. “I’ve never wanted the music to just be about me,” says Mr. Weaverface. “If God can take something I’ve gone through and use it to help somebody else who is struggling, then that’s what makes it worthwhile.”

As Mr. Weaverface celebrates the streaming milestone, work is already underway on the next chapter of his recording career. The artist is currently developing several new songs and plans to return to the recording studio before the end of 2026, with new music targeted for release in 2027. The upcoming recordings will continue his signature combination of alternative rock, personal testimony and Scripture-centered songwriting, building on a catalog that has steadily expanded its reach across streaming platforms, Christian radio and digital media.

“One million streams is an incredible milestone, and I’m extremely grateful to everyone who has listened, shared a song, added a song to a playlist, or come out to a show,” shares Mr. Weaverface. “But I hope the number represents people who heard a message of hope and reminds them of what Jesus can do.”
