Written and arranged by Bryant Urich, Kyle Kicker, and Justin Barnett, “You Me the Kids” was inspired by the band’s current season of life–raising children, growing marriages, and chasing dreams while embracing the beautiful chaos of everyday living. Eauclaire began in 2010 as a group of college friends determined to reshape how people experience music. After a seven-year hiatus marked by cross-country moves, new families, and major life transitions, the band reunited to release their debut album Océan Bleu in 2019, featuring standout tracks like “Ocean Floor” and “Depths,” which found a national audience through the Netflix series All American. Their 2022 follow-up, Timber, was a deeply personal project written during a season of loss and rediscovery.
