Christian rock legends Petra have unveiled the official track listing for their brand new studio album, HOPE, set to release in 2026. This marks the band’s first project of all-new material in over 20 years, since 2003’s Jekyll and Hyde. The track titles suggest the band is still looking to live up to their name and bring a healthy dose of classic rock stylings.
You can view the track listing below:
1. Filthy Lucre
2. Kiss the Coals
3. Oxygen
4. Skin in the Game
5. We Rejoice In Hope
6. Miracle Maker
7. There Will Still Be A Dawn
8. Thorns
9. Looking Back
10. Deliver Us
The lead single, “Deliver Us,” has already been released and is delighting fans with vocalist John Schlitt’s signature iconic arena rock vocals. The band is also looking to hit the road to play a string of shows in support of the new release.
Pre-orders for CD and vinyl have gone live exclusively at GirderMusic.com. The album will be released digitally worldwide on January 5, 2026, followed by the CD release on January 12, 2026. Vinyl editions are scheduled to ship in mid-March 2026, with three different color variants planned for collectors.
“This album is the most honest representation of Petra since our first release,” said Bob Hartman. “It grew out of our 50th anniversary tour, reflects our shared faith, and is meant to inspire God’s people and bring HOPE to the hopeless.”
While the band has officially been retired for the past 20 years, the band members have remained active in the industry through various projects. Find out more about Petra here.
